About Ashish Silsilwal
Mr. Ashish Silswal is a Faculty of Psychology at the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi. He completed his schooling from La Martiniere College, Lucknow, and pursued his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Psychology from National P.G. College, Lucknow. He was awarded the Gold Medal during his Master’s programme for academic excellence.
He holds an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the Ranchi Institute of Neuropsychiatry and Allied Sciences (RINPAS), Ranchi, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from RINPAS. He is a Rehabilitation Council of India licensed Clinical Psychologist, with CRR No. A93515. He has also qualified UGC-NET in 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022, and GATE in 2025.
Mr. Silswal also received training in counselling from the Christian Counselling Centre, Vellore, in 2017, and has been trained in various psychological assessment, counselling, and therapeutic techniques. He is also a member of the Somatic Inkblot Society. His academic and professional interests include psychiatric disorders, behavioural problems in children and adolescents, addictions, psychological assessment, counselling, and psychotherapy.
